I've had to do this very thing your writing about and so I decided to venture into child photography and business is picking up. I've even been approached to photograph a couple of weddings. I decided I might as well,it's almost like free money if you really enjoy what your doing, which I do. I was hired to photograph a first communion and it turned out that the church didn't have a photographer for the event so the priest presented me with a proposition, if I would agree to photograph each child making their first communion he would allow me to shoot one photo for each child receiving communion but the church wouldn't pay,I would have to sell to each child's parents and this way my client would get the photo they were interested in me getting. There was eighty kids x 12.50 you get the picture and a very rich and happy client with family photos and extra sales on top of you get the picture. Very profitable day. Thank you Father.
