Great tips, especially the beach focal points.
I offer this one as well, I live in Scotland and it’s pretty much always at least breezy here. Check the wind direction and stand carefully so the sand isn’t blowing towards your camera and even then clean it carefully when you get it safely back inside.

Those were some really great tips. When I first bought my camera and didnt have much experience and i just happened to take a trip to Venice Beach in FL. I have to say even tho I didnt have MUCH experience my shots were amazing. And all I had to “show me the way” was my manual and myself. Worked out pretty well if I may say so myself. And I used most of the tips you included. I have to agree that the beach is one of THE greatest place to take pictures. Even if you just shoot ocean or sun scenes they always comes out different.
