Hi - I have been climbing our lighthouse (130 steps) to get a picture of our beautiful inlet in Jupiter, FL. I always have a problem with over-exposure of the sky. Since I found out about neutral density filters afterwards, I tried it out in the yard looking up at the sky and I really don't see a difference. My husband bought me three filters: Bower ND4 58mm; CPL 58mm, and UV 58mm. I am not sure if that means I have to use them at 58mm or if the ND4 is a graduated ND filter or are they all "graduated"? I am very confused about filters. Also, if the filter darkens the sky enough to actually see the clouds will that not washout the inlet itself? Any help would be soooo appreciated. Thank you.
