Wow! I'm really getting the breakfast punched out of me on this one. Never the less, I will leave the comments here. If we're going to be straight up, we should take the brickbats with the bouquets.

My opinion (whether it matters or not) is that the link leads to a not so attractive site that produces helpful information. So after some deliberation on whether all designs suit all, I'm going to leave it there and reconsider it's worth again soon. I've learned that that cliche of 'horses for courses' has some strength to it. In other words not everything is for everyone. This particular item has been popular with others you see!

It would also be wrong to remove it when many people have found answers with it.

I hope that makes sense.

..all the best,

Roy firstly, thank you for this article. Whilst I read as much as I can about the business of photography, it is always important to read other people's opinions, ideas and advice.

Secondly, I agree with Gilles.

Infact I have chosen to unsubscribe from your newsletter. The link you provide is typical of an amateur, wannabe marketer trying to throw everything including the kitchen sink to capture interest and convert a few blind mice.

It does not do you or your brand any favours. What it does do is confuse and dilute any credibility you have built over the years in business.

Roy, should your direction change in the future or you decide to invest in your brand (YOU) I would be more than happy to revisit your site and contribute.

I would even be willing to help you by offering my experience and skills in marketing, branding and online strategies. You have my email.

Good luck with the future.

Roy, as you mention in your email, this articles as some hype and I really enjoyed it. Reading it got me excited that I should start searching for those stocks web site.

But, what I didn't like is the link to the other site. Personally that site looks like those famous lose weight campaign you see late at night. Sorry if I'm offending someone but these days they are some many scams going on and that site looks like it, smells like...

I have read every article you wrote so far but with this link, it got me thinking. I'm probably going to continue but I'm starting to have some doughs.

Maybe I suggest or request that in your next article maybe clarify us the reason of that link or your involvement with that link. Would really appreciate it :)

Cheers.

Eric, I don't know anything about how to "bill up a client tail," but I venture to guess that this particular offer can be a wealth of information on how to BUILD UP A CLIENTELE. From what I've read so far, it does offer something like 12 potential marketers. Good luck with that! I'm trying to do the same....for my father, who takes the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen, in Alaska - he has thousands of pictures I'd love to see in large picture frames, on post cards and greeting cards, etc. One of my first determinations is to find out how to get his stock copyrighted, then market them to various clientele.
